One electronically tested 18KT white gold ladies cast & assembled Paraiba tourmaline and diamond ring. Condition is new, good workmanship. The ring features a Paraiba tourmaline set within a diamond bezel, supported by diamond set split shoulders, completed by four and one half millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish. Trademark is HANA. Identified with markings of "18K". One prong set oval modified brilliant cut natural tourmaline, measuring 10.96 x 8.44 x 5.71mm, exact weight 3.51ct., clarity is moderately included, medium light, moderately strong, greenish blue color, (GIA gB 4/4), cut is good. Transmitting light with a minimum of distortion, transparent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. GIA Gemological Report attached. Graded loose prior to setting in the GIA Laboratory, Report #2193733506. This copper and manganese bearing tourmaline may be called "Paraiba tourmaline" in the trade. The name "Paraiba" comes from the Brazilian locality where this gem was first mined, however today it may come from several localities. Fifty prong set round brilliant cut diamonds approximate total weight of 50 Stones = 0.62ct. The clarity & color grade reflect the overall average for the group. Graded in the setting.
